My DIY speakers are 93db sensitive and plays plenty loud for me. But I don't play rock or pop where others may.

Even classical music has low frequency content that will exceed the capabilities of the system you're describing (unless the listener is practically on top of the speakers). I had a 6V6 SE pentode mode as my main amp for years with 95dB speakers. I loved the sound quality, but it was marginal in terms of power. The same amp in triode mode was simply unusable, and I'll add that I tried the same circuit with the EL84 early on. That amp has now been replaced with a larger 6L6 push-pull amplifier, and I am considering converting it for use with headphones only. Not saying there's anything wrong with building a low power amplifier, but it's not very practical unless one has a biamped system with horns and a subwoofer.
I onky build low power tube amp but also high power SS amps. Never had a problem. Full volume down to 30hZ

I quite like the EL84 single-ended pentode sound, especially for rock/metal/electronic!
Yes very easy to do.
