Very nice inside and out! How did you finish and mark the front panel?

In my distant past I worked as an engraver (trophy's, plaques, etc.) and I am friends with the "engraver" at the D-Sport shop here in Columbia, MO. They really don't do much actual engraving anymore. In the case of the front panel I was told it's a sublimation process activated by heat. You design what you want in a CAD program and "print" it on a lacquer metal plate. My friend doesn't like to be bothered by these small jobs and I had to wait over two months until he got around to it.

That's interesting. I'm familiar with dye sublimation for photographic prints, but didn't realize it could be applied to a flat metal plate. I engrave my own DIY panels with a small CNC mill, but it's time consuming. Always looking for alternative methods. :)
