output tube has its own filament transformer so that's about it.
Transformer is top mounted so heat is easy to monitor, but then 200 series Hammond transformer do hum on occasion.
But then that would be 18.5 watts for the rectifier filament plus 15 watts for the power tube plus the 6sn7 heater and plate current of maybe 5 watts?. About 1/3 of the power rating of the entire transformer (123 VA)
And if I blow it up, they are not hard or expensive to replace. :-)
First they came for the dumb-asses
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a dumb-ass
Follow Ups:
is not if, but when you blow it up. Usually not a long wait, either.
Back for a bit again. Ignore me if you like.
HV? Overall? One winding?
Clearly be drawing more current from the 5V winding than specified, but overall barely 1/3 the transformer's wattage rating?

I had one pop on an overstressed 5V heater winding (not really the trans fault, I knew I was stressing it) Friends have as well w/ heaters,, and one guy was pushing the high voltage winding, and it failed. All of them hummed and buzzed horribly when stressed.
I usually go for the 300 series or Edcors.
Back for a bit again. Ignore me if you like.
