For a 6EJ7 or similar, what is the best connection for the internal shield: pin 6?

Connect to power supply ground or to chassis ground (Earth)? Or connect to something else?

Yes, i have a small resistor and small capacitor between my chassis (earth) ground and my power supply ground.

Connect to power supply ground, cathode if more convenient (little signal there). Obviously not the latter if it's a cathode follower.
