I find these chokes to be very good as the input choke in a filament supply running the filament on a 300b.

Thanks, I will definitely give those a try. It is a shame about the Hammond manufacturing shift to china. They really are not the same quality.

  I've been buying Signal transformers and chokes for projects, the same brand Tre' mentioned. I think they're the only company making these that hasn't moved operations to China.
