  I recently watched a deck I have- an Aiwa XK-S9000 in mint condition sell for $1000. That's close to the $1300 I paid for mine. Anyway the deck you list in your auction isn't even in the same league as the Aiwa. The Technics only has 2 motors for crying out loud. Nice looking deck, but nothing special about it. It doesn't even have Dolby S.

      Oops sorry- bad choice of words. I knew it wasn't your auction, I just refered to it being yours as in your posting. Anyway the guy is nuts thinking he'll get that amount for it. Even some Naks don't go for more then $800.

  LOL, I can only think of hefty insertion fee. This deck is not worth even $99. $9.99, perhaps. Technics decks were mostly dogs, and this one was middle of the line model, new was around $300.

  1) Seller meant to list it as $100, and accidentally fat-fingered the zero key.
  
  2) Seller is nuts.
