I'm slightly confused by pictures online. The locking collar should have outside thread to secure the plug. I'm going to use computer SMPS brick to power the deck .
Follow Ups:
Yes, the original connector has external thread on its sleeve.I am not sure why you would want to use SMPS... I do use some of them in non-critical applications, they are convenient, but in those cases I use the non-threaded DIN connectors.
Here is the picture of one of several such supplies I made for my office Nagra's that I sometimes use for background music, but I never used these in "real" systems.
Sorry, the pictures are not presently working on this site, will add when they are back.

Right, I will just buy non securing plug since it's difficult to source a proper one. I bought IV-L from a record store but I don't foresee myself using mono machine of this caliber and I'm going to sell it. I just want to provide potential buyer with temporary solution. The original Nagra PSU is just a transformer, rectifier bridge and 1000 uF cap.
The pictures are working now.
I feel the same about the Nagra 4.2 I have - a very nice machine, but since I also have a nice IV-S, I am thinking of selling the 4.2
For office music I sometimes use the Nagra III, which I like a lot, it is a classic model.
Well, the lot in the record store included Nagra III as well.( It wasn't a super deal since people in record stores are not fools but I wanted to have them at home for a moment). It's a gorgeous thing to have around. I was able to use it's power supply (after replacing that 1000uF cap) to power IV-L.
Nagra III is all original with very clean faceplate but the belts are weak and I'm afraid to change them warned by the stories about broken motors. I put it up for sale already. Blue Philips caps are looking suspect and it's clear machine needs overhaul like they all need after 60 years. The one I have is from 67.
Now down to just two. One is 1965 workhorse, as seen in the picture above.
The other one is a 1971 cherry unit, totally mint, appears to be unused. That one has smoked 7" reel cover.
Those stories are horseshit, I have replaced their belts many times, no big deal, just hard the first time around. Belts are easy to get.
Once you have that thing at home it's hard to part with it. I see Dutch guy selling belts on Ebay for $19 a piece. It's not a bad price. I will buy them and try not to fuck up the machine.
There are a couple of spots that need some figuring out, like removing the motor, rewind wheel, etc, and working around the pulleys, but it is not rocket science.
