Nice haul if I say so myself. Aren't you glad that you're working from home eh?
I liked the engineering design that goes into the Mara heads stack and transport system. I'm sure there was a lot of thought that went into the design aspect of it by addressing the cross-talk issue whereby spacing the record and play-back heads apart.
On the other hand, the Revox/Studer's butterfly design maximizes track width, but crosstalk is a bit worse because the tracks are closer together at the center.

The machine will spend probably a couple weeks here, in the office, being adjusted and calibrated, and then I will move it home, into my basement, that is becoming way too crowded. :(
