Congratulations and enjoy.
Killer cassette deck and I've owned mine since around 84 when I bought brand new. Still functions like the day I bought it. Naks are definitely top tier cassette decks.
I can recommend Willy Hermann from working on my Hi-Com noise reduction unit. Great work and service at fair price imho. I want him to refurb my ZX7 but nothing is wrong with it so its still dead stock and reliable.
Mine is still earning it's keep and still in frequent use.
Hope you have as much fun as I have in owning one. Happy Spinning!
Follow Ups:
on this model. That's pleasing in lots of ways!
Am based in the UK, so this will go to Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) who still service Nakamichi's classic transport decks. Then on to years of great performance, I hope.

Be aware of the dreaded OCD. ESL rebuilt mine that was pristine on the outside. Lets just say I will never recoup the cost.
And yes, OCD is the elephant in the room. I'm having them change them all out pre-emptively.

Boy do I miss the days of sophisticated mechanical gear. Seems like everything made today weighs nothing and has a little 4" x 4" circuit board in the corner of it.

And it's fun too. Don't punish yourself! I've discovered there's a sizeable community of enthusiasts who are having a whole heap of fun, doing their own thing, and I want to be part of that. I get new cassette releases all the time now, a lot of it experimental , but also loads of familiar releases, NOS.

Going to get this into tip-top shape and just enjoy it. B&W (Bowers & Wilkins) in the UK are going to service this one for me. They have a Nakamichi service department, still! The folk at TapeHeads are also helping me get this one up to speed. I've built up a stash of blanks of all grades, and this will encourage me to pay more attention to my vinyl playback too.

Interestingly chez moi, in the age of Spotify (which we all have but to which I'm mostly indifferent) and streaming, my wife and younger daughter had me get NOS Walkmans for them. I also got some (x3) really nice high quality ones for me too . My wife doesn't like the fuss and complication of digital and wants me to make mixtapes of my vinyl collection for her commute; my daughter is a Tolkein fan, loves LoTR and after I bought her a sealed 7-cassette audio version of the story, decided she needed something on which to listen to it. All the excuse I needed!

Yep. Some of them were real works of art. I think it's interesting to see which decks people are fighting over, which ones suck and which ones are still under the radar. Obviously Nakamichi is at the top of desirability, to the point where even their sorta average decks are getting big bucks. Right now I think many Harman Kardons are undervalued.
Some of them can fetch decent prices already.

After a quick search, it seems they're all headed up. The CD491 has always been sought after (with good reason), but you used to be able to CD391's for a fraction of the cost and they're amazing for a 2-head deck (and let's face it, the heads were getting so good that 3 heads were losing some of their advantages by that time).
I still see TD392's go cheap sometimes and I'd like to pick one up to mess with.
to get stuck in. Getting a model you like, and some spares over time, should leave you well placed to enjoy tapes for some time to come.

680ZX just to name a few Nakamichi decks that I've owned but at the end of the day, I settled on the Revox B215. I have had it restored by a guy in California recently who is well known with Revox crowds at Tapeheads forum. Judging from what I've heard and what it can do it was well worth the cost.
Hopefully, it'll last another 20 years so that my grandkids can enjoy it.

Still on my radar, one of those. Or perhaps a Studer/Revox 710 mk ii. Don't need it, of course, but since when did that matter?! Ha!Just got my two Tandbergs back from servicing by a former Tandberg engineer. They're a lot of fun too.
