Sorry, but those decks don't have the best of reputations for staying fixed.
Never had one, so maybe I'm listening to the wrong folks.
Nick in New York was the only certified Tandberg tech around, but he retired a few years ago. There are other techs who may work on these decks, but may decline the job if it needs parts that are unavailable. My Tandberg was fixed about 7 years ago and is still working, though with mixed results at times. Its still my best deck though.
They are fantastic sounding R2R decks. I own one but have been afraid to ask what it would cost to bring it up to stuff! I got it for next to nothing with a bunch of other stuff a long time ago.
