I registered on that site months ago and have never been able to do a search or post a new thread. Every link is blocked, "not allowed access, or my account is not verified." I can log in, but it gets me nowhere. Tried contacting them but am still waiting for some response. Maybe I need to donate?

I'm a member, and had no problem becoming one. I also see everything. perhaps your browser, or a add-on?

Tried using 2 different browsers, I can log in but am not able to do a search or post a new thread on both. I have sent numerous messages to the site administrator with zero response. I registered several months ago. If I could use the site, I would even make a donation, but since they won't even respond to a request for help, that's not going to happen.

its been a while since I had one of those apart. Before replacing the meter though, I would be more inclined measure for voltage at the meter input. Its more likely an interstage coupling cap which sends the AC signal to the meter may have dried out.
