I know there are adjustments for brake tension and capstan/pinch roller pressure, but haven't found any adjustment for tape tension. My 5050BII2 clearly has too much tension on the take-up side and I'd love to figure out how to adjust that down a bit.
Any clue how to do that?
Thanks,
WW

Follow Ups:
Yes the tension of the pinch roller from the solenoid and spring assembly. That arm was "frozen" as I reported in my first post. I wanted to remove the pivot point but in a few days it finally loosened up.
The brake tension pads look almost new as do the heads. I think it just got little use as they had a few there at the sale. So since I'm new to Otari I can't offer much help on the take up tension.
Thanks for chiming in.

I have the service manual. No mention of adjusting tape tension.
