Now you need to tell us if you are making recordings, or at least playing them.

If I remember, your deck is half track only, so unless you buy a "The Tape Project" selection, your going to be making your own. Mine, however, will record and play 1/2 track, but play only 1/4 track. Next, I need to find the other head stack, the one that plays and records 1/4 track, and plays only 1/2 track. Best of both worlds.

It has the 2/4 track switch but I have no (7") tape to try it yet. None of the three Otari's has the hubs for 10" reels. I need to also get a scale to set the proper tension on the pinch roller. No rush.
