Open Request for any suggestions:I've read many of the DIY balanced power approaches, but wanted to see if anyone had ideas further/newer/different etc.
Want to use one for each amp in a triamp system. One for analog front end, one for digital front end.
Don't want to cheap out on parts, but want good value (ie. no cryoed platinum lol).
Do not currently have anything besides regular 15 amp wall outlets at 120v. All amps are under 7 amps max draw 120v.
Clean sheet is waiting...
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
Bribe: free motor run caps, 120/240v to 24v trafos, tubes to the best, most complete suggestions... :-)
I *like* the loudness button!
Edits: 11/26/07Follow Ups:
Simply wire it for a 240V input and a 120 V output but tie X2 and X3 to Ground.
Then only use 120 volts on the input.
it was more the other things like mov's, caps, inductors etc. that many of the diy recipes call for that I was wanting to see if anyone had strong recent opinions on.
I *like* the loudness button!
