Charge error for AA donation

Hi Rod,

It seems my credit card has been charged twice for my membership donation. I renewed in August (don't recall the exact date) and the cc charge appeared on Sept 28. My recent statement shows another charge (same amount) on Dec 24, but that one did not originate with me.

This could be a one off, but may have happened with others as well. Could you please have a look and let us know?

My apologies. Our process is manual and we batch all the charges and updates to various files like the Support page. In this case. I screwed up and failed to move the contribution from pending and to update the contributor log.

I checked our cc processing logs and you were the only one affected.

How would you like to resolve this? I can either refund the last charge or extend your membership another year.

  Thanks for checking it. Please refund the additional charge; that way I can donate again at the usual time next year without any confusion on my part.
