BORED: Why do I need to input my Email Address to post?

The system is insisting that I input my email address every time I post to any of the forums. The field clearly says E-Mail (Optional) and I haven't needed to input this information in the past, until today.

What gives? Am I doing something wrong?

I plugged in a new email verification package because I was getting tired of getting bounced emails because people put in either bogus emails or have typos in the domain and what not. But I forgot to check if the entered an email addy before I tested the value.

Sorry, it should be fixed now.
