of your speaker designs?
Follow Ups:
Are you asking me for examples of my speaker designs?
Yes
I'm going to do better than post pictures and measurements of my past designs I'm going to do a speaker build start to finish and post it right here in the forum.
We'll talk about a speaker's thiel/small parameters what they mean how they relate to cabinet size and style.
Some of the build will be video that I will post on YouTube and link to this forum. Showing how to get frd /frequency response measurements zma /impedance response measurements. How to import those files into simulation software to design a crossover. It should be fun.
I have everything already for the build except woofers that are in the mail now on the way should be here around March 20th. Speaker design is easy just takes a little effort that's it. Hopefully I can inspire some other people to design and build their own speakers.
Sorry for the late response to your question I had a fall broke my nose got stitches in my head knocked out a bunch of teeth had a pretty bad concussions. Now I have to get a bunch of dental implants it's been a little rough.
Hopefully I'll start posting the build in a couple weeks. When you see a post titled audio asylum speaker build 2025 that will be me.
I am going to do a build and post it in this forum soon. I have all the components except woofers that are arriving this week. Going to go over driver Thiel/small parameters and what they mean. Like how a speakers Vas,Fs,Qts effect cabinet size and style ported/sealed. Going to go over measurements and how to measure for FRD files frequency response and ZMA files impedance response. And how to use these files in simulation software to design a crossover.

... since when does one have to do a task themselves before they can offer comments? Think about it -- if that's the case, no one could ever criticize a musician other than another musician, or not like a TV show or movie unless they were an actor themselves, or talk about their food preferences unless they were a chef, ad infinitum.
I agree 100% for example I play guitar have for almost 40 years and I have a couple friends that do not play an instrument of any kind, and they critique my guitar playing better than other guitarist.
You do not have to be a musician to recognize musical talent just like you do not have to be a chef to tell certain foods taste amazing. You don't have to be a screenwriter to know that some movies suck and other movies will still be popular 50 or 60 years from now?
I am not a chef, but I know that fast food Hamberger's are gross!!! and that homemade Hamberger's of the average Americans backyard grill are amazing.
You do not have to be an expert to have a valid opinion.
I made a simple request. I didn't mean it as an insult.
He does have "P" beside his handle.
Or just having stayed at a whole bunch of Holiday Inn Expresses! I wouldn't wish that on anyone though.
Didn't criticism used to be considered almost an art form, a la Mark Twain? How to tell someone they sucked, while leaving them dumbfounded and shaking their heads saying what just happened. And, once they figured it out they were too embarrassed to carry on the discussion and slinked away. Now it's sue for definition of character. Yes, I know, but too often it is definition, not defamation.
