Wow Inmate51 you are more impatient than my wife. A speaker build is much more comprehensive than measurements. So that is what I am doing.

And I'm taking my time and enjoying this. I'm always building speakers that other people want. This build is for myself and this past week I have spent what little free time I have doing some research. I haven't had a chance to do that in a while and I'm still undecided on what exactly I'm going to build. I did however get the chance to go through some stuff I had here at my house a bunch of 4" ports that I have no idea why I have so many. And some waveguides and more importantly a nice stash of Jantzen p-core & air core inductors and Capacitors and some 15" drivers with high QTS perfect for an open baffle build.

However, I can't find a stash of 1" exit compression drivers and a couple boxes full of Mills resistors and more inductors & capacitors. Maybe I will look in the closet in my guest room tonight. I have too much crap from collectables to vintage speaker drivers and boxes and boxes of speaker literature dating from the 1930's to the 1980's that is all online now, so I have no idea why I am even keeping it. This week I will look in my storage and shop I may have some drivers I can use in these builds that I have forgotten about.

So, I was thinking about an idea I had for a slot loaded open baffle different from Nelson Pass version. I also have had an idea for a direct reflecting speaker I have wanted to build for 10+ years, also a transmission line speaker would be cool to build again. I have not done one for years. I thought I had narrowed it down last week to two builds then started doing some research and fell down the speaker design rabbit hole and have not escaped since. Basically, there are so many options, and deciding on what to build has me stumped right now. It's like trying to find something to watch on net flix every time you think you found something you keep searching only to find more to watch.

So don't be impatient. The build will happen start to finish once I decide exactly what I am building.

Ps You should not doubt anybody's ability. Remember just because you cannot design and build speakers does not mean that I can't or anyone else can't. Honestly it is very telling of your own inability's. So, I hope you do not intend to keep up this childish prattle because it is only going to make you look more desperate to be right and continuing any further with this type of behavior is going to lead me to believe you could be a narcissist.
