Seems predatory, going out of your way to sneak in pics of females who 'obviously' are not posing.
At the very least its creepy at most it gives me a gut feeling of something much worse.

Seems like at least some are photos taken in his college years (back in the 1990's ?)But women can be exhibitionists, just as men can be voyeurs. Some of them may actually like helping their friend Luminator draw attention to the products he reviews...
Anyway, I find it difficult to believe that none of these women know anything about what is going on here. Don't you ?

Certainly not reviews and since the pics are decades old in some cases and the females are not in the same setting as the gear they are also not posts of females taking pics to help him with his 'writings'. Esp. since his 'writings' are taking place decades after the pic was taken.

I have read these posts for sometime. They have are no merit but I do keep reading a bit like after a big nose blow you have to a peek in the hankercheif even though you it won't be pleasant. In past times he's 'shared' very personal info about the women he writes about and in at least one post behaved like an absolute arse. Maybe he was their BFF back in the day but I'm sure confidences were never meant to be shared to a bunch of anonymous males decades later. Maybe they'll all find out about the posts and pictures, get together and march en masse with lighted torches and pitch forks and put an end to the whole sorry business.
I could get pitchforked by a mob of females for saying this, but it could be that Luminator is (was ?) simply swimming around as a male shark in a pool full of female sharks...But whatever the actual truth may be, webmaster Rod M. is the only one who has the ability to finalize the contours of the face of Audio Asylum. So, enjoy the ride, simply ignore the posts you find to be too ridiculous for comfort...

We can conjecture about motives but, IMO, the idea that the women are conspiring with Luminator to promote his writings is the least plausible. To quote the critics Waldorf & Statler 'that's the worst thing I ever heard'.
The solutions are simple, write about audio. Post pictures relating to the audio you're writing about. Reminiscing on 'Rock' about a song that reminds you of a time when .... is tenuous when you do it all the time. Just start a blog site and you can talk about all the places you've been, the memories and the girls there. Or get an Only Fans page and write about the co-ed showers.
I can't say for sure. Sure seems that way sometimes...
But if you think these "reviews" are not going to meet your expectations, I'd stop reading them.
They are lurid in a funny way though, right ?
