Curt Campbell (link) as far as I know has about 24 commercialized (kit) designs to his credit, and he also was the principal crossover designer for Salk Sound--I was sad to see them go!
I was particularly happy to have Curt do the heavy lifting, because of his experience at Salk with... Purifi drivers.
I have designed more than 12 completed monitor or satellite speaker designs and four subwoofer designs. This speaker was the most ambitious project, but the client wanted
(i) speakers that would "glorify" well-record vocals, and
(ii) be small, but sound large.
If I had to do it all over again, I would use two each of the Purifi PTT5.25s per side, to restore the lacking 6dB or so the BSC chewed up.
Riv and rurn.

Follow Ups:
Looks like much thought and analysis went into their R&D for their drivers.
Eschewing phase plugs and dust caps as also in the Thin Ply Carbon drivers from Borrensen to many others. I wonder if the "bullets" and caps in the center of drivers may be a thing of the past even though they served their purpose in aiding off-axis dispersion and literally keeping dust out?

Size of a cereal box that fully produces the 1812 orchestra that registers on the Rickter Scale.
Trade offs and compromises in every dang one. Maybe some day I'll get one without any, yah right.
Bit pricy for an extra driver to do point 5 work ( 2.5 way ) though
