Jonbee, what mods on Sound Dynamics RTS-3?

Please let me know what mods you performed on the speaker?

I upgraded the tweeter cap, damped the woofer basket... - jonbee 14:37:23 05/31/07 (4)
and the tweeter horn, intalled better wiring that was soldered and mass loaded and damped the inside cabinet walls. I had high hopes for these, based on the midrange perfomance, but nothing I did damped out the tweeter resonance enough for my taste. I sold them to a friend several years ago, who is still enjoying them today.

  I am hoping for better success as I want to redo everthing on the inside.
  I am going for the Spectra Dynamics damping, Dueland Resistor, Multicaps, Alpha Core Inductor,Eichmann Cable Pods, and Radio Spares wiring.
  May not be that worthwhile it will be considering the cheap tweeter.

    Certainly no need to futz around with those and work with your kit well.

      I will get a pair of Nsats. The Black & White finish is gorgeous!
      I still like to play around to see what I can get out of the SD RTS-3.
