Have you spoken to Gary about this beyond an initial contact?

I ask because I've done business with him and sent a lot of other people to him for transformer rewinds and had no serious trouble. Yes, he shipped a trafo to me instead of my comrade Don Sachs once but that's the only trouble I've had. So it's hard for me to regard him as an idiot or as a ripoff. He is an older gent and may require a bit more conversation to get your issue settled.

If I may, I'd suggest giving yourself time to cool off then re-contact him. I'll be very surprised if you don't get this settled amicably.

Yes I have conversed with Gary. After I stated he sent the wrong transformer, he stated 'it is audio transformer'. He did not say I made a mistake or sent the wrong transformer. That is all!. If he resolves my issue I will remove this post. Until then, it stands.

  He decided to ship correct transformer after I return hos transformer at $19 shipping. At least he decided the answer 'it is an audio transformer' was not an appropriate answer. I will update this post.

    I decided this guy is just too much. Wants transformer shipped back. then will ship transformer. If he would ship first, I would return the transformer. 28 lbs back to his address is too expensive.
    
    I will just keep the transformer he sent and move on. He is not RIPPED ME Off. Just a little perhaps senile.

      I sold the transformer on ebay and got my money back. Gary replied he was happy to 'get rid of that piece of junk'. Real cute, huh!

        I had a bad experience with him, too. Poor follow-through on what he said he would do. I lost a little money on it, too.

        Gary Brown could care less he sent wrong transformer and when I said I would keep it vs mailing 27lb item back at my expense he stated 'glad I got rid of it'. You see he had to get it back first acting like I am the crook.
        So, Gary Brown deserves this bad report on shady lane. He is a creep.
