thats the story, why would you think I made this up or there is something more? Thats not my style. I have been around the block a few times and have to wonder actually what your agenda may be considering how you addressed me. Thats not how my name is used. So whats your angle in this? read my review on yelp or google if you would like a little more info. I didnt because I am very preoccupied with actually more important issues. And I have to say, I detect some hostility or something akin. It would appear that you are here to confront rather then take note of the details as they are presented to the best of my ability. I think a lot of the negative reviews get dropped, at least that is what is said about these reviews . I did a review on a car stereo shop in Berkeley a few years back on Yelp and it was removed. Im sure this guy has been doing this all along when he felt like it was a good opportunity. Likely he misjudged. Thinking that because of my being well into my senior years that I would be easy. He just picked the wrong person.

I did read your review and have no agenda, sounds like sour grapes to me. You had your tuner worked on without a previous estimate, then complained about the price because you already had an amount in your head on what YOU think it should cost. Now you think he took advantage of you because of your age. Is that about it in a nutshell? I don't think it was a fair review!

  The sum of all this is quite simple. If you cant see it , I cant help that. it doesnt take much vision. $212 is simply a rip off for replacing 2 bulbs and a piece of wire. Do the math. All other subjective/personality/ageism issues are really irrelevant . Obviously you have some sort of stake in the business or enjoy playing devils advocate and fail to see with any clarity the lack of ethics exhibited by charging so much. I cant help you see this. Apparently the incongruity of the cost of repairs when comparing a complete AUTHENTIC restoration on a Mac tuner as compared with replacing 2 light bulbs on this tuner is not clicking for you. Cant help you with that. You come on here acting in a disrespectful manner taunting and accusing me of making things up. Take it somewhere else . Sour grapes? How about being pissed off for being ripped off. I am not going to continue this conversation with you. So good luck on your assessments.

    I did not find those reviews very convincing. The all had the same or similar catch praises and appeared to have been written by the same person. Of course a can't prove that, but it does give me pause.

    - what you are saying about some work done on a McIntosh tuner is hearsay, you provide no details of what actually was performed on it, how long ago it was done and who performed the work.
