He finally got his parts cost on a product to zero! He was probably paying $.25 or so for the Silly Junky Clock or whatever he calls it, and now he's absolutely mastered his game--no cost, just revenue. Brilliant!
My mother-in-law was fond of saying "Keep an open mind, but not so far open that your brains fall out." So no, I won't be trying his products just to prove that they're hocus.
The next product should involve bread ties. The base model could be the paper covered wire type, and the deluxe model could be the plastic clip type (color and exact model may vary).
My hat's off to this guy for moxie, and nothing else.
At least you know that up front costs cut into profits. Ain't nothing wrong with that action. You forgot to point out cost savings provided by the Teleportation Tweak via reduced house calls.
That hard on will just not go away, will it? LOL
