Are you privy to absolute proof the MSS didn't get the items as they say?
If so put it out for all to read. I'm not big on innuendo and espionage. The truth can and will set you free. BTW, please enlighten us on "quantum tunneling" and it's basis regarding repaier of defective power supplies/conditioners? Has Synergistic been able to apply some new Law of Physics or rocket science to the manufacture of power supplies/conditioners? Or perhaps this may be a steaming pile of Bull Crap? I'm looking to learn......please tell me the affects of QT to amps/volts and current thanks.
Last but not least, I also have no interest in the success or failure of Synergistic, the Catholic Church, Saudi Arabia, MSS, JB or any other. I merely get a big kick out of self-righteous 'philes with their panties in a bunch......especially when they bring the misery on themselves to shave a bit more of Lincoln's head off those pennies. :-/

a replacement electromagnetic cell? The powercells do not use chokes or transformers to filter the AC like traditional power conditioners do. And considering the powercell is quantum tunneled from it's outlets through the internals and out the powercord... I'd think that would be hard for MSS to do as well. (quantum tunneling is the name for SR's zap with 2 mill volts from a tesla coil... maybe it's crap, maybe it's not... but people have had non SR cables and other things QT'd and noticed big improvements in sound. I'm not going to judge either way)

Sure they can replace any wiring or more common parts...and I'm sure the unit would still be functional afterward... but probably not on the same performance level.

and yes... I'm privy. And no.. my panties aren't in a bunch.

  Thanks for your informative post. So then if I read and understand it correctly, QT is nothing more than a zap from a Tesla Coil? Perhaps this may improve the sound, I havan't heard the item in question thus won't speculate, however I do know I wasn't pleasant to hear after I inadvertently touched the 220 line in my electrical panel installing dedicated lines for audio in my home. Perhaps the boys at MSS may have taken in some Tesla coils in trade and can apply the proper voltage to the repaired item? One thing with high end.... the stranger it may appear, the more likely an audiophile will be hooked by it. The power of suggestion is strong with most audiophiles, to the delight of many manufacturers. :-/
  Again, I speculate, however this sounds like another way to part an easily influenced audiophile away from the dollars in his wallet. IMHO there's nothing like audiophile snake oil to make an otherwise sane and rational person spend like a drunken sailor.
  Also from more reading both at Audiogon and here it would appear to me that there most definately is some "panty bunching" between Synergistic and MSS.
  More controversy in the audiophile world! More excellent reading and mirth and amusement for me! To give a slightly different take on an old saying:
