Due to the nonsense created by Elf Audio in the thread below, I have started another thread, in hopes, that it can actually be informative. I apologize for getting caught up in the disgust below. Its hard not to get emotional when a company/what ever he is, scams you and then gets away with it. I have opened this thread for people to post there thoughts in regards to the dispute and the facts there in. Many tried to give input yesterday on audiogon and for some ungodly reason they decided not to post other members input. It is not the content of the dispute. The dispute is still posted on audiogon for all to see. They simply have decided not to get involved because they feel they received an unprecedented amount of feedback on this dispute. One member may come forward with the most unusual incident. I have come to this forum, because it is a much better forum. I have spent countless hrs here seeking and finding information from many knowledgeable members. I have not posted much in this forum or the audiogon forums. I have spent the last couple years gaining experience and felt uncomfortable posting unless I was sure, I knew what I was talking about.
A little bit about me
I am heavy into analog.
I am a Horn and SET lover.
My reference amps are designed around the 45 tube. In my experience, which I now have quite a bit, the 45 tube is absolutely sublime. The only other tube that I am now exploring is the 71a...
I am also heavy into cartridges...I have and have owned.
Dynavector XV-1s
Air Tight PC-1
Koetsu, Onyx, rosewood,rosewood sig, Urushi,
ZYX Universe
Shelter 90x
Benz ruby h, ruby 3h, ruby 3
VDH Colibri, Frog
Allearts MC-1 Boron
Lyra Titan i
Plus more....
Anyone who wants my thoughts on those cartridges above, shoot me an email. I am very experienced with all of them.
Back to the matter at hand. I am simply trying to make people aware of a manufacture to be careful with.
I have uncovered and a scam, by unfortunately, being a victim.
Be careful purchasing items other than Elf Audio cables from Elf Audio. I am not sure when Elf Audio started this little ditty, but I am looking for other people who have had issues with Elf Audio's shipping practices.
I have notified some members who posted their input on the Dispute on audiogon about this thread and I hope, if they have time in their busy lives, they will come share their thoughts here.
I have spent an enormous amount of time on this. The money is insignificant at this time. I am hoping my efforts will prevent ELF Audio from trying such things in the future.
Again I apologize to everyone except the troll in question, about the thread below.

Notice how nobody else besides Rudy and his "friends" have responded to these posts, surely there would be a ton of responses from others if they had any problems with me and my business practices.I find it strange that everyone who posted in Rudys behalf all registered within a month of each other on audioasylum back in 2007.
Look at it for yourself by clicking their Monikers and you will find that they all registered around the same time...they are probably some of Rudys different user ID's he uses.
joessportster registered Jan 23,2007
PersonAE registered Feb 8,2007
rudyzigray registered march 29,2007All in consecutive months...seems a little fishy to me.I think they are all Rudy and this very same behaivior is what caused audiogon to cancell his dispute.
QUOTE FROM RUDY:
"I have not posted much in this forum or the audiogon forums. I have spent the last couple years gaining experience and felt uncomfortable posting unless I was sure, I knew what I was talking about."
You sure seemed sure about posting before you got in trouble with Audioasylum for double posting and posting under different user names in the past...everywhere you go you get in trouble for breaking the rules!
As screwed up as this world is, I don't believe that anyone would systematically set out to destroy an individual. I don't want to say this is chump change because I don't know a person's financial status, but principle is principle that's why this has gone so far.
With "COD" being totally wiped out as an option, sellers have an obligation to make their customers feel secure abut their purchases. As a rule I give tracking, insurance, direct signature and email confirmation whether or not they ask for it - A few dollars go a long way and I'm protected. If a person claims non-receipt of a package or it has been damaged by the shipper, I don't wait to receive a refund check from the shipper before I pay an customer, I pay the customer out of my own pocket once the shipper has collected and inspected the damaged package.
Offering a customer a product not equal to the value of what he/she is expecting is not a remedy. I believe the seller should bare the cost of the blunder.
There's another forum called "Shady Lane," where opinions regarding possible scams are supposed to be posted.
However, I suggest that you and audiophile36 work out your differences in private.
Sorry, if this thread is in the wrong location. I did not realize there was a shady lane. Does sound very appropriate. Do you think I will get hit for posting in two different forums the same topic? I did that once a few years ago and got my ass chewed for it...
Also, I am no longer trying to settle differences with the troll, I am trying to make people aware.
I started another thread and will refuse to get in a arguement with elf audio
So, yes, you will be chewed for double posting if you do it again.
