I posted about this situation a while back, but it got lost at the end of another thread.Seeing there are some lawyers here maybe I can get some help/advise.I ordered some out of print cds from an online retailer based in the UK.The order was processed,my credit card charged and was shipped one cd."The others are coming soon" was the response to my questions about the rest of my order.I waited awhile and then when I sent emails they were unanswered.I contacted my credit card co. and was told that it had been over 6 months since the charge and they could no longer do a chargeback on the transaction.I know one of the titles I ordered is back in print and showing on their site but they have not contacted me.Is there anything I can do??
Follow Ups:
Contact the Credit Card company, not the issuing bank. The issuing bank will blow you off; the credit card company will do what it can to help you.

"He (R.M. Nixon) was a foul caricature of himself, a man with no soul, no inner convictions, with the integrity of a hyena, and the style of a poison toad." H. S. ThompsonPS: you'll probably have to call them, and then write a letter; no letter, no help.
You could try the UK Office of Fair Trading:

70 bucks or whatever it was may not light their fire - after all, you're dealing with the land which gave us Nick Leeson, but you never know
Would that be DVD4Music? If so, they got me too.

One and the same! How can we prevent this from happening to others? Is there a Better Business Bureau for international sellers such as this one? When I think of how much music I could buy with the money this place ripped me off for...
I thought it might be the same outfit ... especially the vague promises of possible delivery ... always probably next week as I recall. I even asked the guy about the bad reputation they are getting on the Internet for non-delivery, and he blamed "customers trying to make a quick buck on eBay". He even offered me a refund. When I accepted however, that was the last I heard from him.
I just disputed the credit card charge, and it has only been a couple of months so I think I should be OK. As for warning others, I am ashamed to say that I WAS warned. They have a horrible reputation. I just really wanted the title so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Never again though, and I tell everyone who asks about them.
