Greetings,
I have a late George Wright phono preamp I love, that needs some repairs to the power supply. I thought maybe a fellow inmate here would have a connection to a potential repair person.
Follow Ups:
A couple of ideas. Will Vincent in Idaho makes Wright "clones". I have no idea if he has schematics or anything but he probably knows his way around the circuit. He advertises on Audiomart.
Also Paul at Bottlehead is good at repair work. No idea if he knows anything about George's work but he'd be the first person I would ask.
One more idea...there is someone on Audiomart selling off his collection of Wright gear...he may be a good person to ask for advice.
Will Vincent indeed has the schematics (some) as it well known George Wright (one sharp cookie) made numerous modifications on the fly. Mr. Wright's implementation of Class A2 was pure genius. I have George Wright A2 design expressly for 45 tube. Only my 801 design sounds better.

I might reach out to Music Lovers in Berkeley, or Harmony Audio in West Portal, SF
Otherwise if you think you know what the problem might be, DM me
Happy Listening

Im in the Bay area in Cali...
