I started my Testament journey with "Low" -Lummy.
Follow Ups:
In 1987, Testaent were known to us Bay Area residents as a "local East Bay" band.
"Over The Wall," whose video took place on Alcatraz, and "Apocalyptic City" further solidified Testament's "local" credibility. But for those who were not from the Bay, it may have taken a while, to find out about Testament. So if you discovered them, from 1994's Low , that's pretty good.
I am pretty sure I saw their 80's videos on MTV Headbanger's Ball (the best show ever). The visibility factor was low (no pun) in comparison to other Hard Rock/Metal acts of the era. Diligence pays off, as the band made videos in the 90's, that caught a wider audience.
Those 80's albums are Thrash Classics. Keep Rockin'
