When you go out for bubble tea, you and your friends are supposed to wait for each other, and then poke the straws at the same time. We recently went to a T4, and overheard Don Henley's "The End Of The Innocence."
35 years ago, I had just graduated from high school, George H.W. Bush was our new President, and "The End Of The Innocence" seemed to mark the end of Reagan. With its distinctive block chords by Bruce Hornsby, "The End Of The Innocence" also marked the end of youth, for Boomers.

Follow Ups:
Don Henley Unplugged is excellent as well. The Label should have released that performance on CD.
This is a great CD to test any Audio system- Lummy.

In the 1980s, radio stations here, and even MTV, would introduce Don Henley as "former Eagle." Yet, they didn't really say that, for the other members of the Eagles.

In the early 2000s, Henley went on tour, to support his solo album, Inside Job . We saw him on this tour, performing at some Berkeley high school auditorium.
