I use a six AA holder and check the voltage every six months. I haven't added caps but they last quite a long time. The current set was added in late 2011 and started at 9.64 volts and now reads 9.12

Edit: I was told to add more data- Energizer Industrial Alkaline. Still also test well into the good range on a loading battery tester, I have no data to support any change in how the tweak works today vs when it was implemented in terms of the battery change over time, my guess? None.

Not an answer at all. An answer would include an assessment of sound quallity over time. Or at least base it on previous work that showed how voltage affected sound quality.
I worded my earlier post in such a way as to draw out any substance, had there been any. As I suspected, there wasn't. A lot of assholish bluster, however.

Overall I saw nothing positive and a lot of negativity in your replies in this thread which is assholish to use your word. You are better than that.

I was objecting to a Manufacturer (M) linking to his web site to promote his products. This is forbidden according to asylum rules.
Perhaps I should have just reported him to the moderator. I am not inclined to cut manufacturers any slack if they have the slightest history of promoting their products, unless their self-promotion is offset by a large history of substantive contributions, something that I am not aware of in this case.
