Is there any current actually being drawn in this application? There is no complete circuit. Life should be shelf life which could be many years

  On many levels.
  
  1.GK is a self proclaimed "rocket scientist". I guess basic electricity is not necessary
  
  2. The BGT is my invention and i made full disclosure of theory and application over on Tweaks asylum. This is in high contrast to GK's products and website.
  
  3. A.simple google search will disclose this.
  
  4. While i make BGT's, i encourage sharing of experiences and experimentation in orxer that progress is enhanced. Tweaks Asylum has many posts and so do other audio forums including Audiogon
  
  5. Current BGT's use large capacitors, so battery life will depend on type and leakage of caps used.
