  I paid more for my RPi5/8 and was on the wait-list to get it. Incredible for only $120.
  
  I think DietPi is still being tested on RPi5. I ran mine on the official Raspberry Pi OS (formerly Raspbian) just to kick the tires. It's fast from the Desktop and browser but I don't have anything taxing to run on it.

    Same here, I don't have anything taxing that actually needs the speed and extra Ram. But at that price I might have to grab 1 or 2 just because.
