Clicking the link puts me into a new session with Gemini, so I don't see your Q and A session.
At any rate these ChatGPT bots can say just about anything, I find Gemini at least, is often wrong. And you can easily steer it to a response of your liking by tweaking your question.

I agree with you. AI notwithstanding, often the way the question is phrased is as critical as the answer.
The OP used ChatGPT to support a position that I found to be defensive and strident. I used the same tool to arrive at a different conclusion.
That was my first time using Gemini. Apparently it doesn't have the feature to share your chat as ChatGPT does, too bad. When I posed the exact same question as you, I got a less polarized response from Gemini. I'm not gonna paste in the whole chat but here is the conclusion:
Ultimately, whether Lyrion is considered outdated depends on your specific needs and preferences. If you prioritize stability, a strong community, and customization, Lyrion can still be a great choice. However, if you're looking for the latest features and a cutting-edge experience, you might want to explore newer options.
I don't disagree with that.
. . . in theory, practice and theory are the same; in practice, they are different . . .
its response to whomever is typing the question.
The ultimate Yes-bot.

who actually uses the native LMS UI?
I certainly don't!
Apparently everyone who 'thinks' LMS is outdated does.
So in their mind LMS is outdated without even trying or using the Material Skin thats pretty much been the default skin for the past decade.

"However, if you're looking for the latest features and a cutting-edge experience, you might want to explore newer options."The UI wasn't specifically addressed but this response encompasses much more than just the UI.
