  I emailed with Kevin aka Cut-Throat last week.
  
  Cut-Throat said, he decided to "vote with his feet". He left the Asylum.
  
  He wasn't pleased with how a politically charged thread that began on July 13, 2024 in Inmate Central was moderated. I stayed out of that firestorm but I tend to agree with Cut-Throat. Left-leaning posts throughout Inmate Central appear to get deleted by the mod more often while right-leaning ones remain with leniency. True fact or is it just perception?     The only moderation any political thread should receive, in my opinion, is to be deleted, and the original poster (or whoever took it to politics) should receive a warning. Either that, or change the damn posting rules in Central, which are shown above.
    
    I stopped being an Asylum contributor for just that reason. Allowing political posts and the constant brawling quickly grew tiresome. Either enforce the rules, or change them. It's too bad that Cut-Throat felt compelled to leave, but if the Asylum rules were being adhered to, he would have had no reason to leave.

    Thanks for posting this Axiom5. I noticed he hadn't posted here in a while. I sent him an email (through the AA email) but didn't hear back from him.
    
    I'm glad to know he's okay, I always get a little nervous when a regular poster disappears.
