they gave me a Google Nest Mini player that I use in the bedroom. Since it's headless, voice control is useful: "Hey Google, play XM The Bridge".
Follow Ups:
I let my SiriusXM expire w/o ever using it in the Honda. I also have a few free months left in the new Subaru. Do voice commands in your car (via add-on App or otherwise) allow you to launch and change SirusXM stations while driving?
I'll have to play around with SiriusXM while in my Subaru.
P.S. I received a letter in the mail from SiriusXM for a 1-year $5/mo subscription. After that it gets automatically billed at the regular price - whatever that is. I haven't looked.

SiriusXM offers great pricing for starter packages -- I've been getting wild offers continuously since I bought my new Forester last Fall. However, the thing I've read consistently is that if you decide to cancel or non-renew your subscription, well, good luck. You're gonna need it. Apparently they don't make it easy. On the auto forums I follow I've even read of people having to cancel a credit card and having it reissued with a new number in order to get away from SiriusXM. No idea if they are still that way.

I had a similar problem with Norton or McAfee (forgot which) many years ago. I hate that !

Honestly haven't checked. Really don't use voice commands in cars much. Have our favorite channels all in a row and steering wheel controls quickly navigates through them.
I fail as a gadgeteer. ;)
I have a few SiriusXM channels programmed into the Subaru infotainment system but I haven't listened much or done anything else with them.
I plan to experiment with it but that means moving the car out of the garage so it can 'see' the satellites. It won't pickup signals in our garage.
