It doesn't surprise me. I've done the test from time to time but they've all passed.
I see you are upsampling to DSD256. I've tried doing that but find it softens the sound a bit, but some people like that it takes the edge off. Sometimes it just takes too much off. It can sound really good.

I find Pcm to be a bit chrystalin, Dsd has more texture.
I've also done live recording in Dsd, compared to 24/192,
definitely prefer the Dsd.
There are supposed to advantages to upsampling to high rate pcm too.
Miska at HQ and others have said that,
tho he is a big dsd advocate.
If there were no dsd, I'd be fine with that!
I find that when I have lower res PCM, like 16/44.1 or 24/48 it can sound better upsampled to DSD but once I'm at 24/96 PCM it is better at native. There's no hard and fast rule though. I'll turn on the conversion from time to time and leave it that way for a while, and then turn it off.
