And not expensive!
Follow Ups:
The BS Node N130 and the Node X are streamer/DAC's with hdmi input. As is the Wiim Amp. All three are relatively cheap.
Has ARC Input, Coax output to Dac.
I now use Coax from DTV Genie 4K Box to Mac D 150 Dac.
Netflix and Amazon Prime Video Apps are on the TV, I use the TV's Optical Output into Mac D 150 Opt Input.
I can switch between Opt and Coax when watching Directv, I prefer Coax, so I'm hoping this little Converter Box might do the trick.
Pretty cheap, maybe sound to match?
It works!
I can switch between Opt and Coax in TV Settings to compare.
All at 48K.
Really just for Netflix and Amazon Video, I also have Coax off Directv 4K Genie Satellite Box.
Previously I noticed I preferred the Genie/Coax to TV/Opt, when watching TV, both into Mac D 150 Dac.
Now I can try Coax and Opt on the Streaming through LG 55" OLED.
.
Looks like it will do the job but just in case, unbox it carefully keeping all the manufacturer's packaging, instructions, plastic bags, etc. in good shape in case you want to return it.
If it doesn't work for you the Amazon return process is super efficient. Go to your Orders section of their website, click on Return, receive the return QR code image via email on your phone. Drop item off at the UPS Store, Kohls, or whomever Amazon contracts with in your area. No need for a shipping box or shipping label. Just show them the QR code on your phone* at the drop-off site. Done.*If you don't use a phone just print the QR code from your home computer / printer and bring the printout with you.
Good luck!

And report!
Maybe try SMSL. Is that the same thing as i2s?What budget do you have?

"Maybe try SMSL. Is that the same thing as i2s?"Not the same thing. Some audiophile DACs have an HDMI connector but the electrical signal is nothing like HDMI that you will find on TV sets and other AV gear. Those 2-channel audiophile DACs just happen to use the HDMI style of physical connector to tap into the DAC's I2S signal.
I think what the OP is asking about are DACs that support HDMI audio. Any AV receiver will. A TV soundbar will. A small handful of 2-channel integrated amps [with built-in DAC] and some powered speaker systems will also support HDMI audio. This makes it easier for interfacing the TV to a 2-channel audio setup.
There might be a couple stand-alone 2-channel audiophile DACs that support HDMI audio but I don't know of any off the top of my head. I haven't researched it.

That's good to know. I noticed the same plug type.
What is i2s for exactly? Just another connector?
I2s based transports?
What is i2s for exactly? Just another connector?"It's not a connector type. I2S is a low-level signaling protocol standard intended for moving PCM data within an electronic device between integrated circuits within the device. Some DAC and transport makers decided to "expose" the I2S signal (onto the HDMI style connector) to the outside world for interfacing transports and other devices to the DAC as an alternative to using USB, Optical, Coax, AES, etc.
The I2S interface is certainly a selling point for those who want to differentiate their products and those audiophiles who want to be different. Is it a better sounding interface? Maybe. Maybe not.
See the link below then scroll up for background.
