Cool. I might have to install SqueezeLite on my RPi that I presently use with Roon Bridge. Although I ran SqueezeLite on the microRendu I've never tried it on the RPi.
I wonder if I can run Roon Bridge AND SqueezeLite at the same time on the RPi and not cause any conflicts. I believe Roon Server/Core can use Roon RAAT while being in Squeezebox (LMS Emulation) mode at the same time, but I'm not sure. If not, I could enable one or the other independently.
Follow Ups:
The Roon App that he was running on his laptop would not display in Windows 10 (resolution) it wanted him to go to 'Full Screen'... We changed the Scale of Apps, Text from 150% to 125% and it worked, but everything was smaller... Maybe too small for some people.
He also was interested in getting some Album Artwork on his TV that was playing on Roon... He has a Chromecast, but when I was trying to get it to work for him, it didn't have a 'display now playing' on it or something.... Have not figured out that one yet.
I'm not very familiar with setting screen resolutions in Windows locally on the PC -and- possibly a different resolution to the TV.
In my case I'm driving my Samsung TV directly from the Mac Mini HDMI to the Samsung TV HDMI at 1920x1080p resolution [pretty standard]. Roon fills the entire screen when I run Roon in Full Screen mode.
I'm not familiar with doing it over Chromecast and I suspect attaching the PC directly to the TV will be a less problematic path with less variables. [I can 'screen mirror' remotely from a Mac to my Samsung TV using AirPlay Mirroring but direct-attach over HDMI is always better / easier].
BTW I wasn't able to get Squeezelite to work on the newest DietPi based on Debian Bookworm. Squeezelite apparently hasn't yet been 'fixed' according to my internet search. It works on the older DietPi based on Debian Bullseye but I don't want to revert back to the older release.
Some screen shots of my Roon setup:
Display settings on the Mac Mini + Samsung TV
Roon allows you to display fewer larger Album art
Roon also allows for more Album art on the screen but smaller
Better images from screen captures
Font size is also adjustable to see larger or smaller text by the Album art and other Roon screens. Mine is set to Default.
The size and number of Album art displayed is independently configurable per 'client'.
As an example I can make adjustments on the iPad Roon Remote w/o affecting the settings on the Mac Mini Server/Core.
Similarly I can change the Album art size on my other Mac Mini ('client' in my office) and not affect settings on the Mac Mini Server/Core.
Didn't spend a ton of time on it.... But I use my Chromecast on LMS to display just the Currently Playing Album Cover art, Current Track and Bit Rate... Supposedly Roon will do something similar, but I only fooled with it briefly. Roon Link below.....Off topic, but I have my Two new DACs stacked now.....

I assume that Chromecast will send whatever is on your PC/Phone/Tablet screen to the Chromecast "receiver" screen - probably the TV in this case.So in Roon if you Play an Album or track then press the small Album art icon in the lower left of the screen, that will bring up other selectable display features.
From my iPad Roon Remote
This Album cover screen pops up
Experiment with the various buttons below
Another cool feature is the artist photo as shown above. If the album is a collaborative work with various artist, the photo will cycle through to show those various artists.
P.S. I like your big digit sample rate display that can be seen from across the room. I have a red LED digital clock in the bedroom with HUGE digits that I can see from across the room at night without my glasses. I'm pretty much blind w/o them.
