"No, but it won't hurt", good to know. Easier to get individual tubes with internally matched sections, than matched pairs or quads.
Could 5692s be used in V1 or V2? As 5692 has maximum plate voltage of 275 V and plate dissipation of 1.75 watts, vs 6SN7 GTs' maximum plate voltage of 300 V and plate dissipation of 2.5 watts. I do have matched quads of 5692.
