One of the Opmaps in my MP-3 is not working. The manual states to replace it with a TL082 Opamp.
Is a TLO82 the same as a TLO82CN?

Most TLO082s will do the job. The part is not critical. It is quite unusual for them to fail; if this one is bad it will be the first.
Best to check with Ralph, but the "CN" appellation probably refers to the configuration of the chip. You need to be sure that the chip will plug into the 8-pin DIP receptacle on the circuit board (assuming that the MP3 is using such a socket, as does the MP1). I don't remember whether "CN" indicates an 8-pin DIP package, or otherwise. If there's an available photo of the CN variant, that will help.
