The song sounds like the 1950s-60s chanteuse Barbara. That was the singer Barbra Streisand had in mind when she chose her own intentionally different and distinctive stage name.

But no, the song "Voil�" was France's 2021 Eurovision entry (sung by Barbara Parvi).

Nice. I guess a plus of not knowing a foreign language is the ability to just hear the voice as an instrument and not get concerned by lyrics. There's really nothing new to say anyways.
Edith Piaf was my dad's favorite. More than a year ago I learned of Fran�oise Hardy from you mentioning her and I incorporated that into listening sessions I had with dad while caring for him. Thanks again for that. Wish he was still here to listen to this ;-(
