Burns and Allen, I Married Joan, December Bride, Pete and Gladys and of course I Love Lucy... Lucy is about the only one that you can still catch reruns of on a regular basis. To your point though, Gracie Allen WAS a legend. She created a persona / character that has endured ALL these years. She or course was NOTHING like her radio / TV personality in real life and wrote much of her dialog herself. This clip from their show, illustrates what a comic genius she was!
