Not my rankings - esquire editors
I'd still rank Goldfinger 1st and Nobody Does it Better second. Interestingly these were arguably the best Bond movies for Sean Connery and Roger Moore respectively as well. I was never a big fan of Live and Let Die - and I always think it's more because people are fans of Paul McCartney than it is really about the quality of that song. Billie Eilish did very well with these editors.
Follow Ups:
I would rank Live and Let Die near the bottom along with the wonderful performance by Sheriff JW Pepper.
The Billie Eilish theme isn't far behind.
I would have to rank "Thunderball" first, "Goldfinger" second, and everything else third.
I think it's amusing that they ranked a song which has not been released or the movie... The music business is certainly fickled... THAT is for SURE! I DO however (with the exception of Eilish) agree with most of that list though I do think that Adele's, Tom Jones, Duran Duran and Madonna's Bond songs should rank higher on the list.. For me it is hard to separate the song from the movie and how much I like that movie.. For instance I LOVE Casino Royale.. and I loved the intro opening sequence graphics but the song itself was weak! Of course Live and Let Die is my VERY favorite Bond film mostly because as a teen boy I fell in love with the beautiful (still to this day) Jane Seymour! Sir Paul just added a stand-out song as the theme. Having said that, Roger Moore was NOT my favorite Bond... That belongs to Pierce Brosnan... just my opinion of course...
