I've never been opposed to pop - it always boils down to me is it good to my ear.

I like some pop don't like some pop - like some classical don't like some classical.

FWIW I like Agnes Obel.

This was the first song from her I heard - liked it and then checked out more.

At first I was not sure what to think but after repeated listens the subtle qualities come out. Frankly she is one of my favorite artists of recent years.
