The lunch time dog walk yielded another stack of CDs left at the curb-side steps with a note saying, "Free. Please take." This follows finding a box of 40-plus CDs just a couple weeks ago.
Today's little haul included:
1) Wilco - The Whole Love
2) Anoushka Shankar and Karsh Dale - Breathing Under Water
3) Ry Cooder - Election Special
4) Elvis Costello and the Roots - Wise Up Ghost
5) Toumain Diabete - The Mande Variations
6) Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals - Lifeline
7) The Shins - Port of Morrow
8) Alabama Shakes - Boys & Girls
9) Daby Toure - Diam
10) Femi Kuti - Shoki Shoki
And another dozen discs I don't yet recognize, name-wise.

Poo :)
Some Great finds there in that pile!
The Femi album is his second - and a great recording-
I'll also echo musetap's recommendation-
the Elvis, Ben Harper and wilco are also on my list-
Congrats!
Thanks.
With these finds becoming regular, I'm thinking people are loading up their phones/computers and getting rid of the physical discs. Here in D.C. apartment and condo storage space comes at a premium. The monthly declutter follows the monthly window washing!
Toumani Diabete - The Mande' Variations.
An absolutely brilliant recording by one of the great Master Musicians.
He is one of the greatest improvisers on this planet.
Sadly he doesn't seem to be recording or touring ('round here) much these days,
but should you ever have the opportunity to hear him live, don't miss it!
