If you listened to rock or pop in the 60s and 70s, these were the studio musicians who were the foundation of much of the recordings made in the LA area studios - for example much of the Beach Boys studio recordings.

Amazing story; there is an excellent film about them created by one of the sons.

It took Denny Tedesco 17 years to make and fund that film, and he stuck with it until it got done. It was a true labor of love.
