I own two of them, which replaced the mapleshade power cord. One goes from the wall to a Torus power conditioner. The other goes from the Torus to the power supply of my preamp (Decware ZT Pre). Not fragile at all. However, they are very sensitive to placement. One has to move them around to find the "sweet spot". I'm looking for the 100 watt version for my CD player.
They have a coherence and depth to the sound field which is remarkable. No part of the spectrum jumps out at you, one focuses on the music in a relaxed manner.
Try them, you will like what they do. And mine are a generation or two older then the current ones.

Do you have the active (battery box?) or passive power cord? While I never tried a Mapleshade power cord, the Clearview (a wire in a baggie) interconnects were also very sensitive about placement. I literally had to blow them up everyday per Mapleshade instructions. I suppose it comes with the territory when you are dealing with the fringe elements of high end audio. Ultimately though, I'm not sure those Mapleshad IC's were worth the extra effort.
But I'm still interested in trying the power cords. I've learned over the years to never pass judgment before trying, because when you least expect it, some piece of audio gear will blow you away. That's what keeps this hobby fun.
