I have the Complete Orphean System.... WHich is:
Orphean M5 Complete
Includes one pair of M5 crossovers, one pair of modified BMS 4592ND/16 compression drivers and one pair of Orphean horns as complete DIY-kit (as standard without finish).
These is a Passive crossover (M5) for the Driver.
I have Stock Klipschorn Bass Bins. My Active Crossover in the Hypex is for the Bass Bins to the Orphean.
I am familiar with Exmouth area... I follow a couple of fishing guides out there.. The year I was there, I was going to take a trip out there, but it was too hot and the fishing was Off... So, I didn't go...
Follow Ups:
Cut-Throat, I assume you find the integration between the Klipschorn Bass Bin and the Orphean horn as being to your liking, anything you would do differently if starting again?
PS - Does this look right.
Source digital 2V out > M5 crossover > LF output of M5 crossover to DPS/Plate Amp to bass bin > HF output of M5 crossover to HF Amp (valve) to horns.
Also, you got any pics on how you mounted/supported the horn unit on top of the bass bin?
Cheers Johno
I would do nothing different from what I've got now....
PS - Does this look right. (I've added some corrections)Source digital 2V out > Tube Pre-amp > Hypex Plate Amp with active crossover> bass bin
Also Tube Pre-amp > 45 SET Amps > M5 Crossover LF and HF > Oris Horns with 2 inputs on the Driver (tweeter and Mid Range on each Driver)Note: I have 2 Hypex Plate Amps - 1 for each Channel -- Also 2 - 45 SET amps - 1 for each Channel
Edits: 07/25/23
It appears that it has a mid and high output connected to the compressions driver. Is there a super tweeter somewhere or does it do something like a concentric driver somehow?

Concentric Driver. See attached Sheet....
Ok the M5 crossover goes after the valve amp, makes sense.
Did you do any time align measurement regarding the offset of the horn mouth ie the physical position on the bass bins or was that done by ear?
Cheers Johno
I've done some frequency sweeps using REW software, and a lot of tweaking by ear.
