Did JBL make a 1.5" baby cheek horn?

I found it, the JBL 2344. It doesn't look so good compared to todays horns.
What's the opinion?

Those are 1" throat bi-radial horns, something like 100 x 100 disperson angles. They may have later made a 1.5". but can't think of any. Kind of a small horn to run a 1.5" driver on. I'd prefer a 1.2K x-over as a minimum.

  You are correct, that is not a good combination.
  Regardless of exit diameter.
  Pattern loss frequency is approximately 10^6 / horn wall angle / width in inches.

    Have a pair in storage for 20 yrs., waiting for an application here for then, it just hasn't materialized. No audition reviews as yet.
